Contaminated Formula recalls
Since December 2025, various recalls of contaminated infant formula lots have been issued by the Nestlé and Lactalis groups. You can find the list of affected formulas through the food security authorities of your country.

Indeed, powdered infant formulas can be subject to bacterial contamination during the manufacturing process, and lot recalls occur regularly.
To limit the impact of such contamination on infants, the WHO , the CDC in the US and the NHS in the UK provide guidelines for preparing formula with hot water (boiled, then cooled for 5 minutes -CDC)
However, in these specific cases, the contamination involves the cereulide toxin produced by the Bacillus cereus bacteria, and this toxin is heat-resistant.
If you have purchased infant formula from the affected lots: do not use it.
Consuming these products carries a risk of gastrointestinal symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Important Reminders:
Switching Brands: It is possible to change your brand of infant formula. You can find more information on choosing formula here
Specialized Formula: If you are using a formula for specific medical needs, please consult your healthcare professional.
Lactation Support: If you are experiencing breastfeeding difficulties, low milk supply, slow infant weight gain, or if you wish to restart breastfeeding (relactation), appointments are available.
